The Regional Partnership for Coastal and Marine Conservation in West Africa (PRCM) and its partners from the Integrated Management and Sustainable Development of the West African Coast (GIDEL) master’s program at the Cheick Anta Diop University in Dakar and GI WACAF are launching the 4th edition of the online course on the environmental management of offshore oil and gas activities.
The aim of this training program, whose three previous editions have been a tremendous success, is to build the capacity of stakeholders in the sub-region to better understand the environmental issues involved in developing the oil and gas sector.
The 4th edition includes a new module on the impact of oil and gas activities on marine turtles. The courses, given in French, English and Portuguese, target experts, technical ministry executives, civil society stakeholders, journalists, parliamentarians, local elected representatives and members of socio-professional organizations.
The training is completely free of charge, and a certificate is issued at the end.
Registration is now open. All interested candidates are invited to register via this link: https://elearning.prcmarine.org/login/signup.php
