Cabo Verde : Putting in place of POOC
The Government of Cabo Verde has put in place a development plan for the coastal area and the sea adjacent (POO-M) to the Boa Vista island. This plan will serve to plan and manage efficiently the part of the territory concerned, identify vulnerable and risk zones, and regulate criteria for establishing infrastructures. Moreover, it will enable safeguarding and protecting territorial, environmental and patrimonial resources and values, quantifying beaches, bays, cliffs and coves that form part of the socio-physical and morphological elements considered as strategically important on economic, environmental and tourist grounds, and guiding the use of the identified marine resources.
